If you haven't heard
Nashville, Tenessee has recently been the victim of heavy rains
and it is/was flooded
there are thousands of people that have been affected by this flood
and everyone is trying to do their part and help
Artists like Ke$ha and Taylor Swift have donated
the CMA music festival is gonna split the proceeds
so why can't authors and agents pitch in?
That's why RIGHT NOW there are auctions going on in:
Do the write thing for Nashville
books, queries, book swag like tshirts, nail polish, etc. are being auctioned off
and all the proceeds are going towards helping out the flood victims
I think it's an AWESOME thing to do
and i'm going to try and get a bid in for some stuff
although, i must warn you... there are some very persistent bidders!
The 1st day already raked in around $1200 dollars which is great!
But they need more!!!
Bear in mind that it is for a very good cause
and go ahead and BID!!!
