for all of you guys and gals
even though it has seemed like so in some of my posts
this is -not- a book blog
*sorry to disappoint*
although I do blog about my bookish ways =)
for example
I've been reading TOO MUCH lately
you might say:
'one can never read too much, Alannah'
to which I'd say:
'when I don't wanna do college work because Cassel is close to figuring things out... you know it's TOO MUCH'
*Cassel Sharp is the hot MC of Holly Black's latest novel, White Cat... I heard the audiobook in 2 days. Flat. (7 hours worth of YA goodness)*
also
my to-be-read list is growing exponentially
it's not even funny how my wallet is looking at it
*my wallet will be suffering a huge blow this summer when I walk through the doors at The Strand [dreamy sigh]*
and my to-be-read pile is a whole 'nother thing
just LOOK at it
ALSO!!!!
and this pisses me off a bit
my teachers have put it on themselves to assign us novels this cycle
like, seriously
assigned reading?
that is so high school -.-
anytime I have to read a book for a class
it automatically makes me repel the book
I've read about 3 books since my teachers assigned me the books
I could've just read the assigned books and gotten it over with right?
NOT!
I'm a procrastinator at heart
*plus, they're not so appealing to my literary palate*
Talking about literary stuff...
Book Expo America (aka BEA) is this week.
I'm sobbing on the inside everyday.
Just thinking about all the awesomeness that will be there, just waiting for someone to get it. Clockwork Angel, Beautiful Darkness, Karma Bites, Shade, Sea... and so many more that I can't even remember. It's a reader's PARADISE!
*if any of my new followers is currently at BEA and reading this post (which I doubt because, if I were at BEA, I would be nowhere NEAR a laptop. My head would be buried in a book or out partying with some authors :D) please feel free to snag me any of the before mentioned ARCs and send them to me ASAP! =P*

I haven't actually blogged in a while
but, in my defense, neither have YOU
*points fingers... you know who you are!*
also *plus, in addition... I need to broaden my vocabulary... you'd think all that reading would've stuck on me...*
it's not like I have much to report on my personal stuff
There's this teeny thing I have yet to mention here
about a certain person I'm kinda, maybe, supposed to be dating
I'll leave a clue and report back when it's official
*if we ever agree on a date and stick by it xD! We're picky people when it comes to dates, it has to be perfect =)! Plus [again with the same word], who's waiting for us anyways?*

I'm having such a blast...!
College will be over soon.
It pains me to admit it but, I'm going to have to actually grow up.
Ugh.
I've got my internship spot secured for August :)
I'll be shadowing one of my fave teachers in her therapies over at a local children's hospital
*i'm so PSYCHED! [pun intended]*
and I've also started gathering all the stuff I'm gonna be needing to apply for *the* scholarship next year.
I can barely contain myself.
If I score that scholarship, I can die a happy woman.
I won't know what to do with myself after I actually get it, though. I've been focusing half my life on getting my grades for the undergrad scholarship and then getting the grades for the masters scholarship that I have yet to form an actual plan as to what will happen AFTER the scholarships wear out.
I'll leave that for the next blabbering post.
