*deep self-satisfied sigh*

Hiiii :)

Sorry I haven't been blabbing here for a while
although I did give you guys a heads up!

Anywho
I'm done with this college cycle
*yay!*
which means 2 WEEKS of vacations for moi!
(I know, it sounds pathetic but, alas, that's college)
and... it's summer...
so..
meh.
who am I kidding?
I've been practically screaming my vacation plans to you guys!!

I'M LEAVING TOMORROW!!!
WOOHOO!

So yeah.
Felt good to get that out of my chest :)

I leave tomorrow with a heavy heart
knowing I'll leave 2 weeks of get-togethers, beaches & pools
*already my college friends are scheming what they'll do this weekend*
but I'm so so SO excited for my plans :D

Last year I went to Atlanta
*for the first time*
to meet up with Jezzuka
this year I'll be going to B-O-S-T-O-N!!
*for the first time, also*
to meet up with Gelany :D
:D
needless to say, I'm beyond psyched

Not to diminish the other awesome parts of my trip
I'll be going to my future godson's baby shower :) in Providence
*never been there either*
and the usual spots
New York City to visit my cousin
Union City, NJ to see my uncle
Reading, PA to see my grams :)
and I'll try & stop by Philadelphia and see some sites while I'm at it :D

Can't. Frigging. Wait.
T minus 18 hours!!

Books that I've read lately:
- Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready *bawled through most of it but, LOVED IT!*
- Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins *already awaiting its sequel... funfunfun*
- Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (ARC) *SHEER GENIUS PEOPLE!!!! PREORDER IT NOW!*
- The Cinderella Society by Kay Cassidy *made me feel all "girl power!" :D*
- Paisely Hanover Kisses & Tell by Cameron Tuttle (ARC) *hahahah :P had so much fun reading this book x)!*
- Dear Anjali by Melissa Glenn Harber (ARC) *broke my heart & made me laugh at the same time, the whole time. Meredith is a quirky, compassionate teen :)*
- Karma Bites by Stacy Kramer & Valerie Thomas (ARC)
I loved this book! It made me feel like I was back in Middle School dealing with the popular cliques in my class and battling my way through the road bumps that come with being 12 and being the eldest child (which I can totally relate to) of a divorced couple (not something I can relate to, thankfully). Franny was hard to love at times and made some pretty selfish choices (as any 12 year old would've done in her shoes *I know I would've*) but, in the end (and with the help of her adorable and timelessly wise grams & after meeting Justin Timberlake :P) she sorted out her issues the right way and learned that with a little personal magic, conversation and time you can solve almost anything :). And, as if that weren't enough, this book has some mighty delicious recipes that any 12 year old could make. Bring out the chef in the girls from early on ;)! I don't know how these two wonderful ladies (Stacy & Valerie) got the musings of a 12 year old so gracefully plastered on paper. I'm 20 and I can't write a book about being 19. But reading this book was like being inside Franny's mind *and let me tell you... It's not all pink in there!*. This is the book you want your little sisters, daughters, nieces, small neighbors, etc. reading this summer. I'm so glad I got an early glimpse at it :D! (Many thanks, Stacy!)

Books I'll read whilst on vacation:
- Beautiful Darknes by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (ARC)
Words can't describe how excited I am. Period.

- Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
- and all the other books I'll buy while I'm there *truckloads, people, truckloads*

It's 2:27 a.m. and tomorrow is a long *insert rear part of the human body* day. Getting of stuff, repacking of stuff, hair being done, running around to get to the airport on time and you probably think this is all very boring and stressing but, you know what?

I love going on vacations.

So, why not enjoy the whole ride ;)?

MUCH LOVE!
I'll try and post from the US :)
